Welcome from the Headteacher, Ms Bryant.
Welcome to Hatch Warren Junior School
from Ms Bryant.
Dear Parents / Carers,
Welcome to all of you, I sincerely hope that that your child has come home at the end of the first week of the Spring term very excited by the prospect of the term ahead of them – we have some wonderful exciting plans moving forward, more details to follow in the coming weeks.
I am writing to you to introduce myself. My name is Ms Jackie Bryant and I am very proud to say I am the new Head teacher at Hatch Warren Junior School. I have come from Harestock Primary in Winchester and I was Head there for 16 years.
I am delighted to be joining a dedicated team of staff at Hatch Warren Juniors who have worked hard during school holidays to prepare for the return of all of the children at the start of the new term. They have all made me feel very welcome in the school since my appointment. I have been able to be out before school to say ‘hello’ to many of you already.
We have had a couple of changes to the staffing arrangements for the Spring Term, we have appointed Miss Hodgen as the new Year 4 Leader and Miss Krawiec as the New Year 6 Leader and I am sure they will be fantastic in their new roles.
I am very much looking forward to working with you as parents over the time that your child / children are pupils at Hatch Warren and believe that regular contact between the school and yourselves can have a positive impact on the progress that your child makes while they are in school.
With this in mind, I would ask that you contact the school if you have any queries or concerns about anything that is happening in school. For most aspects of work in school the class teacher is the best person to speak to first and they are available for a quick informal chat at the start of the day when the doors open at 8.40am. Alternatively, if you would like to talk with a teacher for a more extended period of time, appointments can be made through the school office. Appointments to see myself, can also be made through the admin team in the school office.
The school newsletter will be emailed fortnightly on a Friday. The Newsletter is going to include curriculum highlights from each year group instead of a weekly update on the website. As usual all our newsletters will be uploaded to the website in case you miss the email or want to look at historical letters.
Thank you for your ongoing support and I look forward to meeting more of you in the coming weeks.
Kind Regards,
Ms Bryant.
