Anti-Bullying Day

In November 2018, HWJS held an anti-bullying day which aimed to help the pupils understand:

  • The definition of respect
  • That bullying is a behaviour choice
  • That we can respectfully disagree with each other  - we don’t have to be best friends or always agree with each other but we do have to respect each other
  • That we all need to choose to respect each other both face to face and online

Pupils took part in a selection of fun activities which included creating their own 'Respect Rap', considering what makes each of us unique individuals by designing our personal 'odd sock' (lower school) and looking at cyber bullying and ways we could all '#chooserespect' (upper school).
