Casual Lunchtime Supervisor / Learning Support Assistant

We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and flexible member of staff to join our team on a casual (bank staff) basis. This role provides cover for both lunchtime supervision and Learning Support Assistant (LSA) absence. As a zero-hours member of staff, you will be contacted on an as-and-when-required basis.

About the Role of Lunchtime Supervision  - You will be supervising children during the lunch period. Encouraging positive behaviour in line with our school values and behaviour policy supporting safe, happy and inclusive play ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all pupils.

About the role of Learning Support Assistant  - You will provide cover when required to work as an LSA, you may: Support a child on a 1:1 basis or work within a classroom under the direction of the class teacher to assist pupils with their learning and engagement.  Help maintain a calm, positive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is patient, calm and nurturing. 
• Builds positive relationships with children and can confidently promote and uphold school behaviour expectations.
• Is flexible and available at short notice
• Works well as part of a team
• Experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
