Our School Library
Reading is at the heart of life at Hatch Warren Junior School, and our library plays a key role in nurturing a love of books and storytelling. Our welcoming and well-resourced library provides pupils with access to a wide range of high-quality fiction, non-fiction and reference books, carefully chosen to inspire curiosity and enjoyment.
Pupils visit the library regularly to explore new authors, develop research skills and experience the pleasure of reading in a calm and inviting environment. We encourage children to become confident, independent readers who enjoy sharing recommendations and discovering new genres.
Our library supports our whole-school commitment to developing strong reading habits. Through regular library visits, engaging texts and opportunities to celebrate reading, we aim to create a culture where every child sees themselves as a reader and where books open the door to imagination, knowledge and lifelong learning.
