E-Safety
E-Safety
At Hatch Warren Junior School, e-safety for your child is taken very seriously. Our e-safety framework provides children with the tools that they need to keep safe online. We focus on current and relevant experiences that children have online, with particular emphasis on their digital footprint and how this can affect their lives. We use a software programme called 'Natterhub' to deliver e-safety lessons across the year groups. Natterhub’s interactive lessons are split into eight Badges of Honour, each of which covers a different aspect of online safety and digital literacy. The sessions relate to RSHE, citizenship and computing.
Should you have any worries or concerns about e-safety, please contact the school. We have created lots of helpful resources for you as parents to use on our new 'keeping your child safe online' section of our website.
