Good evening, we would like to thank you all for a fabulous sports day! My child was concerned about the day not just because of the heat but also because she was very nervous about losing everything. You all were amazing as usual! With lots of encouragement and a few stickers which go a long way with her. We think she did amazingly well throughout and are extremely grateful to you all. Thank you all so so much!

I would like to thank all adults and children for helping my daughter to enjoy the disco. As you know she was a little nervous at the start. But ended up taking off her ear defenders and finding the confidence to enjoy herself! How wonderful you all are for helping her feel included and helping her have the confidence to join in and have a wonderful time! Inclusion is key for someone like my daughter.

I just wanted to say how lovely it was to attend the Reading Cafe for Year 3 yesterday. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time reading with my child but also a real pleasure to be in the school environment meeting members of staff. It’s great to be involved in my child's school life again as we learn to live with COVID.

I would like to immensely thank each and every one of you for all of your efforts at Stubbington this past week. My daughter has come home a different child, confident and more independent and is EXTREMELY proud of herself as are mum and dad and all of her family for achieving this past week. It is quite possible that her jaw may soon fall off telling us about all of the yummy food and fun she has had whilst away with you all, from fossilised shark teeth and pockets full of seashells to protecting the egg and launching it from a catapult! The games room and play area and a new song her friends taught her, I could go on but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about 😂 . From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for everything and cannot express this enough.

You are all fabulously amazing, keep it up!!

HWJS have provided us with so much support recently while we’ve had a very challenging time as a family with illness. Normally my daughter who suffers with her health wouldn’t have been able to attend school during periods when she is at her worst. However, HWJS have given invaluable emotional and physical support and been very flexible which has enabled her to continue attending school where as usually she’d be at home missing out. The staff have made it so easy for us to communicate with them on a daily basis and they’ve been so understanding.

Thank you seems such a small word for everything you as a school have done for my daughter. She has absolutely loved her time here at the school, her teachers have been fantastic and she learned so much and gained in her confidence and independence. You have equipped her with all the skills she will need for the next chapter, senior school!

Also, as a nurse the school have helped me out immensely during the pandemic by being able to take her into school I have been able to help those in the hospital, thank you to all of you for your support!

As my child moves on to secondary school I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at HWJS for allowing me to volunteer in the life of the school.
