On Wednesday children in years four, five and six welcomed representatives from Basingstoke Young carers into school to talk to the children about what it means to be a young carer and asked them to consider the challenges that young carers face on a day to day basis.

If there are any young carers in school who regularly care for a family member at home we would love to know and help in any way that we can. Please speak to your child's class teacher and we can signpost parents and children towards some useful help.
