Mon 27 Mar 2017This afternoon we enjoyed fantastic Ukulele concerts by each class in Year 3. They showed us a selection of what they have been learning this term. There are short video clips of each class on the music page which can be found in, "About Us," and, "Curriculum." -
RSPCA fundraising day
Fri 24 Mar 2017Today we have been fundraising for our chosen local charity, the Basingstoke and Andover branch of the RSPCA. We had a non uniform day and lots of children donated an item for the RSPCA. We also created penny pictures and held a cake sale. This afternoon the RSPCA came in and delivered assemblies about how the money we have collected and the items will help. -
Curriculum evening 2
Tue 14 Mar 2017This evening we held our second curriculum evening focusing on non-core subjects. Every classroom had a challenge and a chance for parents to compete against one another. The doughnut challenge also made a popular return! -
Gillian Cross opens new school library
Wed 08 Mar 2017On 7th March Children's author Gillian Cross officially opened our brand new library while she was in school working alongside our children as part of book week. Gillian was joined by members of the school council who had been instrumental in planning the library and members of The Friends of Hatch Warren Junior who had so kindly paid for the new library to be installed. -
Cross country runners represent the school
Wed 08 Mar 2017Congratulations to Jack and Josh who represented the school and the Basingstoke area in the county cross country event yesterday. Jack came in 15th and Josh in 36th- really well done boys on your fantastic achievements! -
